@zarthross can we merge this one so that we go ahead with #303 ?

Then can we make a release of circe-optics for 0.14.4? We are struggling downstream with breaking changes on circe-jawn between 0.14.1 and 0.14.3. We have to force dependency versions or shade.

Circe 0.14.4 had some issues with Scala 3 derivation, and that's the flagship feature of that release. We'll be releasing 0.14.5 soon, so I'd rather not merge in #303 at all.
