Selecting a token breaks escape menu

Describe the bug
When you press escape while having a token selected the escape menu locks up. Selecting a token and pressing escape again, does close the escape menu again.

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Select a token
2. Press escape
3. Press escape again and see

Expected behavior
When pressing escape the menu should toggle on and off with each press.
