Type Open

Open
Open a path in current tab.
If there is more than one path, open the rest in new pending tabs, and switch to the last one to start data retrieval.
If you keep Ctrl key pressed when you invoke a Type Open, TE will do it as "Open in new tab".

Open in new tab
Open a path in a new tab and switch to the tab.
If there is more than one path, open each in new pending tabs, and switch to the last one to start data retrieval.

Open in background
Open a path in a new pending tab.
If there is more than one path, repeat for each.

A pending tab defers data retrieval until you/TE switch to it.
