@elharo would you have any idea why beta 4 worked for maven 4 then it just stopped working after that? I'm not seeing anything in release notes and beta 5 had a note not to use on the download page as broken. Well rc1 has same issue. It seems not to want to start up maven. Does it just have to do with requiring to use the 4.x plugins like compiler and others? The error just isn't very clear. |

No idea. I've paid very little attention to Maven 4. I suggest raising this on the Maven developers list. |

closing, issue is maven wrapper jar is no longer being downloaded. If it were checked in maven work will work. There are even more problems with maven wrapper jar on windows 11 that compound the issues. Nothing that can be done here. |
