PAL

  • Sony SLV-SE60 - oyvindln, used with scope probe, worked well with both cxadc and ddd

  • JVC HR-J658 - oyvindln, signal too low for cxadc, doable with ddd, but not sure if the signal was strong enough for good chroma decoding (need to re-test with ddd, may have used probe in 10x mode

  • Philips VR900, Hitachi VT-MX730EVPS, VT-MX905EVPS (newer Philips turbo drive decks, not actually Hitachi!)- oyvindln, didn't test, but found that these and related don't have an easily accessible rf test point when servicing (these are made by Philips not Hitachi I think)

  • Panasonic NV-F77 - oyvindln, captured fine with scope probe + ddd from both rf c and rf y outputs (not sure which is best), cxadc not tested.

  • JVC HR-J681 - oyvindln, captured fine with scope probe + ddd from pb fm, though signal seemed a bit weaker than from e.g Sony and F77.

  • JVC HR-XVS20 - oyvindln, captured ok with scope probe + ddd from pb fm, though signal seemed even weaker than on 681, maybe a bit too much.

  • Nokia VCR3715, Luxor VCR4704 (Sanyo) - oyvindln, captured ok with scope probe + ddd from pb fm on head amp, though the decks had some power supply issues so can't fully test.

  • Panasonic NV-SD200 - oyvindln, captured ok with scope probe + ddd from pb fm on main board, but got some slight interference (Probably due to me connecting to ground to far away, should presumably be fine otherwise).

  • Panasonic AG5700 - oyvindln, captured ok with scope probe + ddd from env TP on top board, at back on hinge side (Gives RF C out from head amp + 0.1 uf cap)

  • Panasonic NV-HS950 - harrypm, Initial capture tests seem to be okay with direct head amp board RF-C tap to BNC to 100cm 50ohm RG174 cable required higher gain on CX Blue type card, new testing will be done with the AD605 amp and on other RF-C tap points available. - December 2021.

(Panasonic NV-HS950 Update 2022 after inspecting the amp unit the solder joints on the white connector to the head assembly were cracked upon reviewing initial photos this started before the unit was modified, this was fixed via tap solder-reflow this should be a point of checking for bad or broken solder joints also Pin 11 tapping with the DDD did not work, TBC ENV (TL3001) needs a cap tested with 100uf cap SVHS minimum needs a cap or signal loss occurs)

  • Panasonic NV-HD630 - zcooger, cxadc card, ?
