About The Project

A @tanstack/react-start starter with tRPC, drizzle-orm, better-auth and tailwindcss, based on the examples from the official docs.

Please be aware that @tanstack-start is still in beta, so things might be subject to change.

Getting Started

Prerequisites

npm install npm@latest -g

Installation

1. Clone the repo, or use the template

   git clone /~https://github.com/jellekuipers/kolm-start.git

2. Change git remote url to avoid accidental pushes to base project

   git remote set-url origin github_username/repo_name
   git remote -v # confirm the changes

3. Install NPM packages

   npm install

4. Connect to your database in your .env and set base URL for better-auth

   DATABASE_URL=
   BETTER_AUTH_URL=

5. Initialize database

   npm run db:push

6. Start the dev server

   npm run dev
