FreeBSD tests are failing due to clippy issues that this PR among other things fixes: #1327 |

I rebased main and thus added a fix of the FreeBSD pipeline ... should work now. |

probably mostly thanks to kubernetes ;), the
.yamlfile extension is often used interchangeably with.yml, we should probably support this.also added clippy recommendations from
config.rs
