+Der Chaos Computer Club (CCC) distanziert sich von der angekündigten Plattform «SwissLeaks» und deren Urheberverein «Chaos Computer Club Südostschweiz». Wir warnen davor, der Plattform «SwissLeaks» nur wegen unseres Namens besonders zu vertrauen. Die vorgeblich sichere Anlaufstelle für Whistleblower wurde per SDA-Meldung am 23. Mai 2018 in der Presse verbreitet und fälschlicherweise sowie unlauter mit dem Namen «Chaos Computer Club» bzw. «CCC» in Verbindung gebracht. Die behauptete Nähe dieser Plattform zum CCC, in der Schweiz und im Ausland, existiert nicht.

+Darüber hinaus hat der «Chaos Computer Club Südostschweiz» bereits im März einen «Chaos Alpen Kongress» angekündigt, ebenfalls ohne Absprache und ebenfalls über die Medien. Darin macht der Präsident des «Chaos Computer Club Südostschweiz» klar, dass er "[...] eine ganze Reihe von Firmen angeschrieben [hat]" – um sie als Teil der Hauptakteure für den «Chaos Alpen Kongress» zu gewinnen. Auch das entspricht nicht dem üblichen Vorgehen des Chaos Computer Clubs.

+Wir rufen die Medien daher auf, alle Verweise und Variationen von «Chaos Computer Club» und «CCC», mit und ohne Zusatz "Südostschweiz", zu entfernen, die im Zusammenhang mit der «SwissLeaks»-Plattform und dem «Chaos Alpen Kongress» erscheinen. Auch bitten wir, richtigzustellen, dass der «Chaos Computer Club Südostschweiz» nicht Teil des CCC und seines schweizerischen Landesverbands ist.

+Der CCC-CH ist auf den neu gegründeten Verein "Chaos Computer Club Südostschweiz" zugegangen und sucht aktiv den Dialog. Leider ist der Präsident, Herr Luzi Stadler, unserem Aufruf vom Freitag, 25. Mai nach Richtigstellung bis heute nicht gefolgt.

+The Chaos Computer Club (CCC) dissociates itself from the platform «SwissLeaks» and the «Chaos Computer Club Südostschweiz», the association that annouced «SwissLeaks». We also advise against trusting the «SwissLeaks» platform for its claimed association with the CCC. The supposedly secure Whistleblower drop point was announced via SDA on 23. May 2018 and was wrongly und dishonestly associated with our name «Chaos Computer Club» and «CCC». In contrast to several claims, there is no link between this platform and the CCC in Switzerland and abroad.

+The association also announced a congress named «Chaos Alpen Kongress», again without coordination also announced directly through the media. Luzi Stadler, the association's president, says he already contacted numerous companies – to attract them as part of the main actors of the «Chaos Alpen Kongress», which is in stark contrasts with our usual precautions for established CCC events.
+
+Therefore we call the media to remove all references to "Chaos Computer Club", with and without annex "Südostschweiz" from any announcement of «SwissLeaks» and «Chaos Alpen Kongress». We would also like to publicly assert that «Chaos Computer Club Südostschweiz» is not, and never was, part of the Chaos Computer Club or its Swiss chapter.

+The Chaos Computer Club Switzerland actively sought the dialogue with the «Chaos Computer Club Südostschweiz». On Friday, 25. May, we asked for rectification of their announcements. Unfortunately Mr. Luzi Stadler has failed to act upon this call until now.

+Il Chaos Computer Club (CCC) si distanzia dalla piattaforma «SwissLeaks» e dal congresso «Chaos Alpen Kongress» annunciati entrambi dall'associazione «Chaos Computer Club Südostschweiz». Avvertiamo inoltre di non prestare particolare fiducia alla piattaforma «SwissLeaks» solo per via del nostro nome. Questa é stata annunciata via SDA il 23 Maggio 2018 facendo uso erroneamente e slealmente del nome «Chaos Computer Club» e «CCC». La vicinanza che viene suggerita al CCC in Svizzera e all'Estero per questa piattaforma non esiste.

+Il «Chaos Computer Club Südostschweiz» ha inoltre annunciato un congresso «Chaos Alpen Kongress», pure senza consultazione e con annuncio diretto ai media. Il presidente dell'associazione dà notizia di aver già contattato parecchie ditte per vincerle come principali attori del congresso. Anche quì vediamo le nostre usuali precauzioni non rispettate.

+Chiediamo dunque i media di rimuovere tutti i riferimenti a "Chaos Computer Club", con o senza complemento "Südostschweiz", da tutte le pubblicazioni in merito a «SwissLeaks» e il «Chaos Alpen Kongress». Chiediamo pure di dichiarare che il «Chaos Computer Club Südostschweiz» non é parte del CCC e dell'associazione regionale Svizzera.

+Il CCC Svizzera ha contattato l'associazione «Chaos Computer Club Südostschweiz» e sta attivamente cercando il dialogo. Purtroppo il presidente Luzi Stadler finora non ha dato segito a prendere le dovute distanze.
