Swift 3 EFI 2.3
Changelog:
- Kexts and OpenCore are updated to support macOS Monterey (tested on macOS 12.2.1 and 12.3)
- Changes to Bluetooth stack on Monterey are now addressed - BT works on Broadcom cards
- Several kexts are deleted (such as NoTouchID) - they are not needed anymore
- The config is streamlined a little. A basic support for OpenCore's secure boot process was enabled
Swift 3 EFI 2.2
Done in this release:
- Added support for Big Sur
- Updated OpenCore
- Updated kexts to their latest versions (at the moment of Feb. 23)
- Remade a trackpad patch, now it uses interruptions mode and works smoother while pressuring the CPU less
Swift 3 EFI 2.1
This is more or less a minor release, which addresses some of quality-of-life issues, such as ugly 10.15.4+ booting process, outdated whatevergreen and OpenCore and so on. Basically 3 things were made:
- Kexts are updated
- OpenCore is updated too
- conflig.plist changes about log policies, and SMBIOS changes to make it minimal (I strongly recommend to regenerate it for working iCloud services and resolving password prompts every boot)
Swift 3 EFI v2.0
This release is built from scratch based on @stevezhengshiqi's OpenCore approach for Xiaomi Mi Notebook Pro, so this update has some serious changes:
- Fully adapted for macOS 10.15 Catalina
- All kexts are updated
- VoodooI2C patches are fully rewritten
- OpenCore is the default bootloader now, Clover is no longer supported
- Many other changes under the hood
