@tomwayson please review. This is for #99 (comment). The checklist as of creating this PR should reflect what has been added to the documentation.
I also added some cross-referenced links between docs and some site example pages.
I couldn't get the ngdocs to generate content for the esri.map and esri.core docs pages, and also not fully sure if that is even a feature.
Feel free to edit heavily; some params and descriptions I really wasn't 💯% sure on and would love your feedback.
