At the very least for the stable release, PeerTube should feature:
- Interface localization, to support multiple languages;
- Video subtitles, to facilitate video accessibility for diverse audiences;
- Improved RSS feeds, to follow instances, users and channels through the RSS protocol (and more: Atom, JSON-feed)
- Video import from URL (YouTube, Vimeo, Dailymot…

- Improved and advanced search feature;
- Software stability (bug fixes) and scalability.
Some of the listed requirements are already met, at least in part, but need work be easy enough to use by anyone.
