The markdown editor displays the formulas but the rendered page displays blank spaces

Hi,

I'm using version 2.5.298 and the formulas are being properly displayed in the markdown preview but, when the page is rendered, they are displayed as blank spaces.

For example, the text:

The final output of this process will be $out=iv|enc$.

On important difference is that in the preview, it is rendered as:

If you replace the rendered page's SVG with the span used in the editor inside the DOM, the formula is presented as expected.

Is there a way to fix this issue or, at least, implement a workaround?

I have an update about this issue. It appears to be an issue with Mathjax:

1. If you enable Katex and Mathjax at same time, the formulas work in the editor but not in the page;
2. If you disable Katex and enable Mathjax, the formulas work in the editor (using katex) but not in the page;
3. If you enable Katex and disable Mathjax, the formulas work in the editor and in the page;
4. If you disable both, no formula is rendered;

It appears that Mathjax is rendering broken SVGs, so disabling it fixes the root cause of this discussion. On the other hand, the editor uses katex for the preview regardless of the selected formula renderer.

I can confirm in the latest stable version of Wiki.js that Mathjax is an issue. Katex works for rendering on the page unless an inline expression is used in a markdown table and the expression ends with }$

The page https://docs.requarks.io/en/rendering states that katex and Mathjax cannot be both enabled at the same time.

Even with Katex disabled, Mathjax does not work for me in the pages, only in editor.
