Issue Type: Bug

Testing #2195 on macOS.

I have a vnc server running on port 5901 my ssh box.

  1. In the Remote Explorer forward port 5901 by pressing the + on the right of the entry
  2. run open vnc://localhost:5901 in an external terminal
  3. Stop forwarding port 5901 in the Remote Explorer

-> You can keep using the already open VNC session. I'd expect the VNC session to disconnect the moment I stop forwarding the port.

VS Code version: Code - Insiders 1.42.0-insider (c4b6a6b537de49a734d0eedea06152ea37dfdb6a, 2020-01-28T05:34:51.242Z)
OS version: Darwin x64 18.7.0
Remote OS version: Linux x64 5.0.0-1022-azure
