The April migration plan has come to an end and the May project migration plan is as follows:
There are still a few other projects not covered in this list, some of which are unnecessarily listed as configuration files, resources, or tools, and some of which are other projects that are planned to be migrated as soon as possible after this batch of migrations. You can see a complete list of projects that have been migrated to GitHub for development, including miscellaneous projects at here. If you have any other questions or suggestions, please feel free to start a new thread on the discussion board to discuss them. Thanks for your support! |

The May migration plan has come to an end, there are two projects that didn't finish the migration and it is planned to be done in June:
And the June project migration plan is as follows:
It should be the last batch of projects that need to do the workflow migration. There might still be some missing projects and we'll add it to the list later when needed. If you think we are missing something, please feel free to comment to let us know. |

Thanks for following alone! The development platform migration is all finished now, hopefully it will make contribution easier. This thread will be un-pinned for now. If you still have anything related to the migration process, or need any help about contributing to deepin/DDE, please feel free to create a new discussion or issue thread in the developer-center repo, or drop as a mail in the deepin-devel mailing list, and we'll glad to help you out :) |

Hi everyone!
As mentioned earlier, we are improving our workflow with the deepin community to make it more open and transparent, and to make it easier for everyone to participate in the deepin open source community. In the first phase, we plan to validate and process the GitHub issues we deposited, and now that the first phase is basically over, we plan to migrate the development process of all deepin community open source projects back to GitHub in batches to make it easier to accept pull requests from the community. We will also be improving the documentation to make it easier for the community to understand the process and participate in it. This announcement will cover our plans for this, including a list of projects that have already migrated their development process to GitHub and a list of projects that we plan to migrate in the near future.
Migration Progress
Note: Items marked with ✅ are projects that finished the GitHub migration progress
In fact, we have been gradually migrating a number of projects in February and March, and the projects that have already undergone migration include:
Next, we plan to continue migrating the development process of more deepin open source projects to the community gradually. Among them, we plan to prioritize the following (non-DDE) projects for migration in April.
At the same time, we are planning to migrate the development process of as many projects corresponding to the DDE components to GitHub in April, and currently plan to include the following projects.
The above projects are the list of projects we plan to migrate in April, we will complete the migration as soon as possible and will update the migration status in this post occasionally. We still have some projects that are not on the list above, and the projects not listed will be migrated after the migration tasks on the list above are completed. If you have any questions about any of the topics listed above, please feel free to reply to this post or start a new thread in the discussion forum to discuss your feedback with us. We'll make sure to eventually migrate the development process of all deepin community open source projects to GitHub to make it easier to build a better DDE/deepin with our community contributors!
