Despite not having one myself, the new Macs with Apple Silicon needed some Netflix love… so here I am, dropping a universal update like it's not even a big deal. Which it isn't. It's mostly a handful of tweaks and fixes that I threw together in an afternoon. I got the Apple Silicon part for free.

Spent a little time putting together a nice new icon that feels at home on Big Sur, just for the pleasure of it. If you're partial to the old icon, I've also started a collection of alternates which can be found within the project's Icon folder.

The title bar also got some love to get it looking better on Big Sur (apparently they got bigger), and I spent a little time tweaking the javascript to make sure Netflix's headers get popped out from under it correctly.

Some of the custom menu items (like the preferences in the Window menu) weren't being validated correctly, which meant they weren't displaying as intended. I figured out why (apparently one must actually declare conformance to
NSMenuItemValidation
now, rather than it just being a thing that happens), and then fixed it. -
The version number got updated. Normally that'd be obvious, but last time I forgot to actually do that, making it seem like I might have shipped the wrong version, when in fact I messed up in a totally different way. GOOD WORK PAST-JELLY
