Sadly you must hit yes to the popup to lanuch as admin. Unless you turned of UAC.

As a note, on Windows 8.1 I did not receive the popup for UAC. |

That's interesting. I get the popup on windows 8. I dial UAC down 1 notch from default to stop it going to secure desktop. (second from bottom) |
