Mattermost Plugin Bug: Active Meetings does not update without refresh

Issue - Bug

When I create a new Activity via the slash command or the plugin UI, I must refresh Mattermost in order to find it in the Plugin Menu.

Users can:

• Start new activities and find them immediately in the plugin sidebar
  Triage is performed to find the root cause of the bug, timeboxed to ~1 hour.

Estimated effort: 1 hour to triage. More if root cause is already identified.
