TSConfig BaseUrl src

Hello, I'm experimenting with porting a small repo from CRA to Vite. Previously I was importing things using tsconfig baseUrl set to src so I could do things like "components/..." vs ". / components". After switching to vite. It doesn't seem to work via baseURL. So is there a way to achieve this without doing some like "@components"?
