Wired Mode

My PC doesn'thave Bluetooth compatibility, and I don't really want to get an adapter. Can you add a mode that just uses the USB-C data cable used for download as the method of sending inputs?

it was our first intention but we quickly switched over to Bluetooth since we wanted it to work on both platforms: PC and PS5

But since then we're investigating on this topic and you can already see here /~https://github.com/unic8s/hd2_macropad/tree/dev-tusb our current development on that topic.

It all relates to a specific library (kind of a standard in all embedded devices) called TinyUSB.
Since we have a very specific platform (ESP32) which is on one side very powerful - on the other hand it's not directly supported by TinyUSB. There is another wrapper library necessary from the chip manufacturer https://components.espressif.com/components/espressif/esp_tinyusb

So overall it's not that trivial but we already made some good progress getting it compatible but it's still crashing so there's more time and effort needed.

We will push forward on that topic and hope to publish it soon. For now we're close to publish the battery intgeration soon. After that we'll have more time to spend on TinyUSB support.
