We are pleased to announce the release of Astroid 3.1.12-rc1. This release brings bug fixes and replaced Quill Editor with TinyMCE. Please test to make sure it works properly on your current website. Thanks @felixkat @WM-Loose @Dnsftl @Joomlaplates @vtheod @jendrage and others for helping me to get this version out.

Hi Sonny,
first Bug with the colors.

Here the site before 3.1.12rc1 with 3.1.11:

After Update to 3.1.12rc1:

The Colors in Layout Section are gradient.

That ist a big problem.

This also affects colors in the dropdown menu and actually all colors. It's been a lot of chaos after the update and something is fundamentally wrong here.

Unfortunately not, Sonny, because after the update the Stiky header is suddenly transparent and that shouldn't be the case. The entire background color is missing. Look at it again. If you go back to 3.1.11 it will be there again.

Font in the menu is black and the offcanvas button is also black.

It's browser cache problem. Please help me clear browser cache and refresh again. You can see it works.

In this version, I use css variables to call the color of the custom style. It helps the css file of the custom style reduce at least 50% of its size. This helps the style load much faster.

@WM-Loose Cache cleaners are very useful in browsers. I only really use Firefox and use https://addons.mozilla.org/en-GB/firefox/addon/clearcache/ It's just one click to clear your browser cache. After making any changes I clear Joomla \ Astroid cache for the server and then clear cache for the client browser.

Version: 3.1.12-rc1 tested with Template Two, Version: 1.0.6 - Joomla 5.2.4 - PHP 8.3.
No bugs found, everything looks neat and works as expected.

and what ist with test from gradient colors in the header? Please test ist.

I tested it for you and didn't find any issues. Everything works as it should.

I have no idea what might be causing the problem on your end.

Hi Sonny, yes its working.
But its only working if you have setup the module for header like default > astroid-header.
If your header has another position like > header and you update, the color settinga are gone.

what does the key for TinyMce affect?

TinyMCE has now been implemented for the text widget, (and maybe other places). I'm guessing that this allows you to enter your Pro license if you have one.

If you have Pro license of TinyMCE you can enter to use full-feature of Editor

you are ahead of the joomla core itself. There is an editor 6.8 TinyMce :)
