Greetings!
I have been looking for a file explorer for W10 for a long time with the ability to view files and the presence of tabs. The PC is working and therefore I can not change the built-in explorer. In TE, I found such an opportunity. However, the W7 interface seems outdated to me. So I have 2 questions:

  1. Is it possible to change the built-in W7 explorer to W10(or 11) and change the appearance of the address bar, etc.?
  2. If not possible, can I change the interface of the existing W7 by myself? I do not have much experience in this and if you tell me where to look for files in which you need to change the appropriate sizes, colors, icons, etc. I will be grateful.

Nevertheless, I decided to do it myself. And if possible, I ask for help.
I've already redone a lot, but there are a few questions. In particular, please tell me where it is necessary to adjust the size and color of the address bar border and where it is possible to change the view of the preview window.
I will be grateful for any help.

You can try "User style sheet" add-on. However your style will be applied to a whole "class", not just the address bar. Example:

input[type=text] {
  border: 2px solid red;
}

I don't know what you want the preview window to change exactly, so I cannot give you any suggestion.
