Won't remember columns views for directories

I am having this issue as well. I am sure this already being implemented somewhere but I just can't seems to find the solution. Every time I open a folder, I have to keep resizing the "name" column because the default is too short. I tried searching for something like in Windows File Explorer where you set the column size view you want and then "apply to all" to no avail. Closest I can find is Remember Folder View Settings but it does not seems to work. I mean by default it's already installed and enabled.

Anyone can help this newbie?

Try "Folder settings" add-on (and disable "Remember Folder View Settings").
