The Chewy Stack helps people develop complex web and mobile applications better and faster. It allows developers to quickly scaffold the different services that make up their app (web client, api, auth, etc.) from a series of services we have carefully chosen, and makes sure they are properly connected so that:

  1. they can get a development environment up and running quickly
  2. they can manage environments (production, staging, etc.)
  3. they can quickly and easily deploy

In a way, the Chewy Stack acts as a dependency management system for services in an application, making sure the right dependencies are installed and ready to run in dev and production.

Reaching this goal will hopefully allow us to dedicate enough hours to the project that we should be able to get a beta version ready to go in the next few months. At the moment a "beta" means getting the tooling to a point where, in a controlled environment, a user can install the core services, and have them properly accessible through a client in a dev environment and deploy them to a single infrastructure provider.
