Configure Geomatic Touch with SOFA in windows

For my project work, I am trying to configure the Haptic Device GeoMagic Touch X, with the binary version of Sofa. I have followed all the steps mentioned in the forum, but still; I am getting some versions that are not compatible errors.

While compiling the plugging of Geomagic, provided. I have tried to load the plugin (Geomagic.dll) provided by SOFA Still I am not getting any response.

things I have done so far:

1. installed the binary version of SOFA, and loaded the Geomagic.dll plugin provided.
2. and checked to control the scene by two different devices geomagic touch x and omni
3. then I tried to compile the geomagic plugin code provided in Cmake GUI
4. I am getting, found version of Sofa.config files are not compatible

I am stuck here.

Hi @niteshdohre2503

A colleague of mine mentioned that it could come from an issue with the install prefix but I did not have time to check this so far.
I'll try to dig more into it and keep you posted

no update, for now i started working with haption haptic..

please suggest what should I do, so that I can use geomagic touch in SOFA in windows environment

Hello sir, No update with geomagic touch in windows, I was stuck for a week's there, then started working on Haption haptic device. Please suggest what should I do, to configure geomagic touchX, or geomagic mini in sofa, for window environment. Thank you

when you see such an error:

CMake Error at CMakeLists.txt:4 (find_package):
  By not providing "FindSofa.Config.cmake" in CMAKE_MODULE_PATH this project
  has asked CMake to find a package configuration file provided by
  "Sofa.Config", but CMake did not find one.

  Could not find a package configuration file provided by "Sofa.Config" with
  any of the following names:

    Sofa.ConfigConfig.cmake
    sofa.config-config.cmake

it means you did not well refer to the SOFA libraries. As specified in the documentation:
The only mandatory requirement for your project to find SOFA is to edit the CMake variable CMAKE_PREFIX_PATH and set the value to the path of the lib/cmake directory of your SOFA installation:
