Description of the information

The cars_data.csv is a file that contains all the information obtained from the catalogue of second hand cars.

Concretely, the database contains the next columns:

  • Title: The complete name of the car.
  • Brand: The brand of each car.
  • Province: The province where the car is being sold.
  • Price: The price of the car.
  • Year: The year when the car was put on the market.
  • Kms: The kilometres of the car.
  • Fuel: The type of fuel which is used by the car. There are 4 types: Gasolina, Diesel, Híbrido and Eléctrico.
  • Type of gears: The type of gears. There are 7 types: Manual, Automática secuencial, Manual automatizada, Automática, Automática continua, Automática continua secuencial and Directo, sin caja de cambios.
  • Seller: The kind of seller. There are 2 types: Profesional and Particular.
  • Guarantee: This column says if the vehicle has guarantee or not (No or Sí).
  • Colour: The colour of the car.
  • Boot Capacity: The capacity of the boot in litres.
  • Length: The length of the car in centimetres.
  • Height: The height of the car in centimetres.
  • Width: The width of the car in centimetres.
  • Doors: The number of doors of the vehicle.
  • Vacancies: The number of vacancies of the vehicle.
  • Tank: The capacity of the tank in litres.
  • Weight: The weight of the car in kilograms.
  • Max Weight: The maximum weight of the vehicle.
  • Type: The type of chassis of the car. These are the different types: Berlina, Todo Terreno, Monovolumen, Stationwagon, Coupe, Chasis, Convertible, Combi, Pick-Up Doble Cabina, Furgon, Roadster, Targa, Chasis Doble Cabina, Pick-Up and Bus.
  • Max Speed: The top speed the vehicle can reach in kilometres per hour.
  • Comb Fuel: The general (combined) consume of the car in litres.
  • Urban Use: The urban consume of the car in litres.
  • Extraurban Use: The extra-urban consume of the car in litres.
  • Aceleration: The aceleration of the car. It is measured as the time (seconds) that the car spends running 100 metres.
  • Autonomy: This column is useless because it's always zero.
  • CO2 Emissions: The grams of CO2 emitted per square metre.
  • Output: The output of the car measured in CV (Caballos de Vapor.
  • Cubic Capacity: The volume of wind that a piston of the engine can compress in cubic metres.
  • Cylinders: The number of cylinders of the car. These are the possible values: 4 en línea, 6 en V, 3 en línea, 5 en línea, 6 en línea, 6 en Boxer, 4 en Boxer, 12 en V, 8 en V, 0 en no link (0008), 10 en V, 12 en W, 2 en línea, 2 en Boxer, 2 en Rotativo, 8 en línea, 5 en V and 8 en W.
  • Max Par: The motor power in Newtons per metre.
  • Gears: The number of gears of the vehicle.
  • Transmission: These are the different types of transmission in the data frame: Manual, Automática secuencial, Manual automatizada, Automática, Automática continua, Automática continua, secuencial and Directo, sin caja de cambios.
  • Traction: These are the different types of traction in the data frame: Delantera, Trasera, Todo terreno total permanente, Total permanente, Todo terreno total conectable, Total conectable, No link (0005).
