Steps to Apply for the GitHub Student Developer Pack: If you don’t already have a GitHub account, sign up at GitHub. Visit the GitHub Student Developer Pack page: GitHub Education. A school-issued email address (e.g., yourname@university.edu), OR Fill out the form with the required details, such as your institution, expected graduation date, and proof of student status. GitHub will review your application and send you an email with the result. This can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few days. Once approved, you can access the Student Developer Pack benefits, including free GitHub Copilot (for eligible students). |

Create a GitHub Account

Verify Your Student Status
