Since this pinned discussion is not updated with this useful information, I am posting this again. It's especially useful if you use Blazor or Avalonia where your final webpage has _content and _framework folders.

Solution

Add a .nojekyll file into your root directory. Credit to mpetrovich/stylemark#65

Explanation

Github Pages use Jekyll to process your repo and they skip all folders starting with _. Adding the file bypass this process and so your files in those folders are kept intact.
