"# results available, use up and down arrow keys to navigate. Press Enter key to select." - NVDA or web site message? #17619

Hello I have not found the string "use up and down arrow keys to navigate." in NVDA's codebase. Moreover, I am in French translation team and French translation is up-to-date. So this message is not in NVDA's core code. Either it comes from the website (from far the most likely) or from an NVDA add-on (very unlikely according to the add-ons I know in the wild). Last possibility, a browser add-on I know less this topic but it seems also quite unlikely to me. HTH |

Hi, this message likely comes from the web browser itself. Thanks.

I am reasonably sure this comes from jQuery UI's Autocomplete widget. |

I'm testing a project's website, and when I navigate focus to one of their comboboxes, I get a message like:
(# is the number of items in it).
"# results available, use up and down arrow keys to navigate. Press Enter key to select."
Is this message coming from NVDA or the client's project website (I can't find it in the F12 dev view in browser). When I switch to French language in NVDA, I see the same message in English too.
Thx
