hackrf : No supported devices found.

On a hackrf clone i got the message in the title. The binary is on Ubuntu, built from source from the repository 2 weeks ago. The dmesg detects the usb presence . the SoapySdr was also built from source , see below the SoapySdrUtil --info. Hackrf_info detects the board. Any idea of what is the problem?

You need to try SoapySDRUtil --make="driver=hackrf", if that works then using -d "" for rtl_433 will work.

Thank you. Now works by adding the -d "" to the command line when starting rtl_433 . The SoapySDRUtil --make="driver=hackrf" also reports finding the device and reports the version
