Mason: http://www.masonhq.com/
perl 5.8 is in use. all the relevent man pages are installed. if you need
new perl modules, please see if they're listed in the *Packages files in
/var/lib/apt/lists. If so, give me the package names, and they'll be
installed immediately. Otherwise, give me the name and I'll snag them via
CPAN at my earliest convinence.
sudo /usr/sbin/apachectl restart
^ needed if you modify anything in jbovlaste/lib, and sometimes more often.
never hurts.
postgresql account:
u: jbovlaste
p: makfa
psql -U jbovlaste jbovlaste
^ will pull up the textual interactive postgresql interface on the jbovlaste
database. (once you enter the password) be careful, the jbovlaste user can
drop tables and such. (it can't drop the whole database, though)
if the entire schema has to be changed, jay should do it. hypothetically
anyone else with access to the account could, but they'd have to drop every
constraint, every sequence, every procedure, every table, _everything_ and
then rerun the jbovlaste.sql script, readd the users, etc. no fun. don't
change the schema. :)
/tmp is your friend. Though it is trashed on every reboot. (Not that I
go around rebooting, but shit does happen)
