- Security First: Given the nature of our project, security is paramount. Always prioritize the security of the project, its users, and the broader community.
- Respect: Treat everyone with respect regardless of their age, gender, gender identity and expression, sexual orientation, disability, personal appearance, body size, race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, or professional status.
- Collaboration: Open source projects thrive when people collaborate. Always be open to feedback, and work together to find the best solutions.
- Transparency: Be open about your intentions and always act with integrity.
- Prioritize security in all decisions and actions.
- Use welcoming and inclusive language.
- Be respectful of differing viewpoints and experiences.
- Gracefully accept constructive criticism.
- Focus on what is best for the community.
- Show empathy towards other community members.
- The use of sexualized language or imagery, and unwelcome sexual attention or advances.
- Trolling, insulting or derogatory comments, and personal or political attacks.
- Public or private harassment.
- Publishing others' private information, such as a physical or electronic address, without explicit permission. This includes any form of "doxxing".
- Introducing security vulnerabilities on purpose or through negligence.
- Other conduct which could reasonably be considered inappropriate in a professional setting.
If you witness or are subjected to unacceptable behavior, or have any other concerns, please report it by contacting the project team at our Forum.
All complaints will be reviewed and investigated promptly and fairly.
All community leaders are obligated to respect the privacy and security of the reporter of any incident.
Unacceptable behavior from any community member, including sponsors, contributors, and those with decision-making authority, will not be tolerated.
Anyone asked to stop unacceptable behavior is expected to comply immediately.
If a community member engages in unacceptable behavior, the project maintainers may take any action they deem appropriate, up to and including a temporary ban or permanent expulsion from the community without warning.
If you feel you have been falsely or unfairly accused of violating this Code of Conduct, you should notify the project team with a concise description of your grievance. Your grievance will be handled in accordance with our existing governing policies.
This Code of Conduct applies both within project spaces and in public spaces when an individual is representing the project or its community.
