Currently, git archive exports completely lacks "tests" directory:

vader.vim/.gitattributes

Line 5 in 429b669

test/* export-ignore

This means downstream testing of Vader is unavailable. If this directory was a submodule, it would be possible to easily download and unpack it for downstream testing needs.
