+1. This would let the library support Windows (which I wish it did!)

@Restioson, the library as it stands today should already support Unix. I am currently using the 0.1.0 version on Linux and on macOS.

That said, completing this ticket is a priority for me so that the crate will support Windows as well. I have started on the work, but it is going to require a breaking change to the API and a refactoring of the codebase to get it to work the way I want it to, so it is taking a bit more time to finish than I wanted.

@otavio I haven’t made any progress on this because it wound up not being a priority for me. I don’t use Windows, so using it as is on Linux and macOS has been enough for me.

However, I do have a PR that I merged in recently that I haven’t done a release for, so I will try to get that done in the next day or two.
