Hello, I found this app on F-Droid yesterday. I haven’t had a chance to dive in yet, but it seems to only have one default instrument available.
I currently have SynprezFM 2, and may re-install Volcano Mobile’s FluidSynth and OPL3 players. I cannot see any documentation of which virtual instrument format Helio is expecting, and I am not even aware of such infrastructure’s existence on Android.
Should I assume that the default patch will have to suffice, until SF2/SF3/SFZ support is ready?
I haven’t had an effective composing workflow since I used Logic Student Edition with a Korg workstation back in 2001, so I approve of your agenda. I am excited to try Helio on Windows. 👍
