Hello! I'm back with another huge update to AoE2Tools. Only this time I had put lots of energy and time into fixing crashing, improving code quality/stability/user experience and as usual a new feature.

What's New With AoE2Tools?

Compatibility Patch is Fully Supported Now By AoE2Tools.

(+) New Feature "Manager" includes Quick Stats, Backup, Restore Backup, Bulk Replays Renamer (requested by Firearrow5235).

• Quick Stats
  Get a quick overview of how many recorded games you have and how much space they are taking. You also can clean the the temporary files and old restore games from the same window to improve game performance slightly/significantly.

• Backup
  You can make a custom backup of your game files as you can see bellow. (I highly recommend using this feature to backup/restore your hotkeys, savegames especially at the public release of WK 5.7.4 or later. Be warned that Wk Installer removes savegames / hotkeys.)
  You can also make a full backup of the entire installation game folder.

• Restore
  Simply Browse your backup and restore it back.

• Bulk Replays Renamer
  Select any folder containing recorded games (1.5 RC, WK) and they will be all renamed automatically.

(+) Multilingual Support has started with (French, Spanish) languages so far. PM me if you would like to Translate to your language.

(+) Watch Wololokingdoms replays "WK 5.7.2 & WK 5.7.4" supported ahead of the release time (requested by Firearrow5235)

(+) Manually Change Age of Empires 2 Installation folder through Settings button (requested by theandychung).

What Bugs Were Fixed?

• Fixed a rare bug where HDToAoC failed to retrieve language string on some computers resulting into sounds not rending.
• Fixed a critical crash that occurred every 24 hours due to a failure in catching the default patch version of Voobly.
• Fixed a critical crash that occurred when installing AoE2Tools in a different location (Thank you for your help r/jeowaypoint)
• Fixed a critical bug where the Launcher appears to freeze at the Scan stage.
• Fixed a bug where changing Twitch intervals do not apply.
• Fixed a bug where twitch api caused AoE2Tools to crash.
• Fixed other minor bugs and more improvement to code quality.

AoE2Tools 3.1.0.4 - Introducing "Twitch Streams/Alerts" & Bug Fixes

AoE2Tools 3.1.0.4 release introduces:

"Twitch Stream Listing" & "Twitch Alerts"

• Watch Your Favorite Streams Directly through VLC or Web Browser with one click.
• Add Your Favorite Streamer To Your FAV List To Get Instantly Notified Once They go Live. (Fancy Alert to the bottom right of your screen)
• Customize your Twitch Alerts (Add, Edit, Delete FAV Stream List)
• Two Buttons Added: "Live Streams" button to Browse Live streams. "Options" button to manage Twitch Streams/Alerts.

General Bugs

• UserPatch detection is now fixed and improved.
• Fixed a critical issue where dragging and dropping recorded games from local computer was not working and renaming wasn't possible. Now It is all fixed and tested with linetyreborn (Thank you linetyreborn)
• Fixed another critical error with the Launcher, offline mods would not launch or get stuck when AoE2Tools loads up with windows startup.
• Many performance improvement and caching that should help AoE2Tools perform better than the previous releases.
• Fixed some issues with file association that denied some players from viewing recorded games through AoE2Tools

This version introduces bug Fixes with AoE2Tools only! HDToAoC seems stable for now and there were no further bug reports.

Wololokingdoms (Recorded Games experience has improved and more improvements "replay analysis" are coming on the way)

• Drag and drop replays from Voobly to AOE2Tools should now automatically generate a name from the actual players so you don't have to rename manually anymore.
• Recent Replay/Drag and drop recorded games should now display names of players before you actually start watching.
• Fixed a bug when trying to click watch replay the second time crashed AoE2Tools or returned an error.
• Fixed a bug where the Progressbar didn't show progress of "Drag & Drop Replays" from Voobly or other third party websites.
• Fixed a bug where drag and drop recorded games from aocrecs.com was not working in both previous versions.

Voobly

• Detection has been fixed and AoE2Tools is able to detect Voobly wherever is installed.

Performance & UI

-Improved performance of AoE2Tools as of this version manages tasks more efficiently "asynchronously".
-Fixed AoE2Tools UI Tabs and are now aligned equally.
-Portable version download of AoE2Tools is now available by request from users.

What's AoE2Tools?

Is an all-in-one Utility that brings everything that is Age of empires 2 related into a fully automated system.
AoE2Tools includes Support To These Main AoE2 Tools:

• HD To AoC: Formally "HD-To-TC". A migration Tool To Voobly. However, It is now Legal! It builds Age of Empires 2: The Conquerors (Most Stable Base Version) Using Age of Empires 2 HD assets from steam.
• Voobly: Fully Automated Voobly Installer (In case Voobly is not installed). Also Dedicated Section where To Fully Manage Voobly Mods (Visual/Data/Patches).
• WololoKingdoms: Auto Download/Update To The Latest Wololokingdoms Version.
• UserPatch: Auto Download/Update To The Latest UserPatch Version.

How To Setup?

1. Download AoE2Tools from Github Releases Repo:

2. Install AoE2Tools just like any regular program

Double Click "AoE2Tools.3.1.0.0.exe" and click next then Install:

3. Launch && Scan

At This point, There are two type of players:

• New Players from Steam: Click Scan Button And "1. Convert" Should Be Enabled For You. Then Click it. (Continue Reading.. Setup is Almost over.)
• Existing Players from Voobly: Click Scan Button And "2. Start" Should Be Enabled For You. Then Click it (Your Setup Has Ended Here! You Will Get Direct and Full Access To AoE2Tools. Congrats!)
  

4. Pre-Converter And Personal Customization

After You Click "1.Convert" This Small Window will be prompted:

You Can Choose Custom Settings Such As a Custom Installation Directory Where You Wish Install The Newly Converted Game (For Highest FPS and avoiding bugs that windows 7 -10 introduced like graphics not initialized, permission issues etc.I Highly Recommend Using The Default Directory Or Anywhere In Your LocalDrive "Avoid locations where your windows is installed" such as "ProgramFiles" )

The Preconverter of "HDToAoC" is able to detect where your Age of Empires 2 HD is installed. But In case you have it installed somewhere else. The "Fix It" Button Should Be Enabled For You, so Just Click it and Locate where Your Legal copy of Age of empires 2 HD is installed.

You Also Can Choose Which "Offline Mods" and Hotkeys You Would Like To Install. Then Click "I'm Ready Let's Go"

5. Converting Age of Empires 2 HD

Alright This is The Final Stage Before You Get Access To AoE2Tools and Be Able To Play On Voobly Instantly Without any Additional Settings.
Once You Click "I'm Ready Let's Go" This window will pop up:

Slap That Start Button And Watch Voobly Gets Installed automatically. The conversion Should Also Start simultaneously.

It Should be Flawless And Smooth (no freezing) during conversion. (Keep some distance from The Monk as He might Convert you throughout the process)

Once The Conversion is Over The Configuration will initiate to automatically configure Age of empires 2 for Voobly and Add the game to your Firewall.

Voila! Once The Conversion is over. It will close automatically and prompt you to AoE2Tools.
