You should change the hotkey to one more keyboards actually have.

There are two sizes of keyboard that have an Asterix, the 100%, and the 96%. The TKL, the 80, 75, 65, 60, and all the rest do not. Another great option would be to put a button in the settings to open it from there with no hotkey required. I haven't been able to find any such button. Thanks for your work!
