thanks for offering
but this repo is only meant as an example for this guy if he choose to work on it
AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui#12694
I personally know next to nothing about node electron
the issue is he seems to have dropped off the face of the earth
so I'm not sure where this is going
this is why I hadn't wrote any documentation and put it on the index

if you wish to work on it go ahead
but I'm not sure where this project will go

OH, just noticed that you commented at AUTOMATIC1111/stable-diffusion-webui#12694

developing extensions are pretty straightforward
at least the simple extensions are straightforward

basically callbacks are places that you are can inject code for webui to execute

in this case we just need to override the normal autolaunch behavior which can be done by setting the env SD_WEBUI_RESTARTING to 1 and
and after web UI launched run electron

basically it's taking your original code but putting it inside the callbacks

Thanks for the additional details, it is now a little more clear how that is gonna / meant to work, and if we could also tamper some config file programmatically to turn the extension on/off that will be cool too (you know, to mimic the cmd-arg)

Alright, can try to move forward with this during the next weekend or whenever i find spare time, meanwhile feel free to transfer me the repo :)
