Hi all

Cockpit is fantastic, I use it on all my Pi's, and it makes controlling them super easy.

One thing I miss is a sort of action tool. A tool where I can create simple scripts/functions that I can run with a click.
e.g. I have caddy server installed on one of my Pi's and when I change the caddyfile it needs to be formatted and reloaded. This is done via terminal. In this example I would create an action that fires the terminal commands when I press run. that way I don't have to manually type the commands every time.

The main way to add such functionality is by writing your own little Cockpit page, which can then embed or call these scripts and offer some convenient UI for them. Please have a look at https://cockpit-project.org/blog/creating-plugins-for-the-cockpit-user-interface.html . You can copy the pinger example and adjust it to your needs.
