Hi,
I was looking for another type of graph for wind direction that shows the direction in the timeline, but I haven't found anything.
So if you have time and like the idea, this is an inspiration:

I like it because you can easily see how the direction was changed, when, how fast, how long.
;)

Hi,
Isn't there a generic graph card available to display something like this?

hi,
no generic graph doesn't show it. I think because of it is string not number.

I don't have the time in the near future to create something like this.

Maybe you can use a template sensor to convert your sensor to a numeric degrees one?

I believe you might be able to achieve this with Apex charts, but you will need to convert the wind direction to an actual number using a template (if it is not possible to get the wind direction in degrees). It is on my winter list to construct.

Thank you, I was thinking of this solution but I would like to have the letters on the graph.
That is why I made this request. But I understand that it is a very specific request.

Hello yes. Definitely can create labels on the Y-axis in Apex. Tom_I has just made a post on ApexCharts about how to create specific labels on the Y-axis, corresponding to values. I think this is a clue and my suspicion it is possible. Out of interest this is weather site close to me in the harbour that I am trying to replicate
