Support for publication categories (e.g., Journal Articles, Conference Papers, etc.) has been added to the template and the Wiki has been updated accordingly.
While we are making (slow) progress towards the v0.9 milestone this is a fairly significant change that will impact older websites using the template. For those of you that are creating a new website, you can edit the various types of publications in the
_config.yml
file, or simply comment out or removepublication_category
and the values below it if you don't wish to categorize your publications (note that commenting out is recommended since you may wish to reenable this feature in the future).For those of you that wish to upgrade your older website to the new templet, the process is a bit trickery but the Wiki should help with pointing out the changes in settings needed. For those of you that have extensive customizations to your site, you may wish to refer to the commit directly for where the code has been changed.
