Motivation

Weather is a phenomenon that many have contemplated over since the beginning of humanity. What it is and how it is. But there are always those curious minds that want to go beyond the questions of the now and look to answer questions of the future.

As a Data Scientist, I realize that it is possible to take what have been learned and recorded over time about the weather, to find trends and predict it.

Journey

I have considered this project for a while, but the more I learn about Prediction, the more challenging and out of scope the project.

This is when I discovered LSTM. (more details in the research tab) It is a Neural Netowrk that is used for preditcing things that happen over time. Once I learned how it worked, it seemes like the perfect time to attempt this project.
