Vipul Vivek brought Nightingale's work on data visualisation up in this LinkedIn comment.

Important figures in emphasising the importance and accessibility of data visualisation techniques include Florence Nightingale (Gershwin, 2020) and Otto Neurath (1973), and has influenced science communication (D'Ignazio & Klein, 2020) and even public policy to enormous scales (see Edmonds, 2020).
