Calendar failed to import birthdays from Fossify Contacts' "private" Phone Storage

Steps to reproduce the bug

Prerequisite:
In Fossify Contacts, I have a few contacts in Phone Storage, but most of my contacts in Phone Storage (not visible by other apps)

1. In Fossify Calendar, I open the 3-dots-menu
2. clicked on Add contact birthdays
3. Confirmed the dialog which asked me for reminders by clicking OK

Expected behavior

I expect that Fossify Calendar imports birthdays from Fossify Contacts, both from Phone Storage and Phone Storage (not visible by other apps).

Actual behavior

A message displays "No new birthdays have been found.".
Fossify Calendar only shows birthdays of the very few contacts in Phone Storage, but shows none of the birthdays in Phone Storage (not visible by other apps).

Additional information

I'm using Fossify Contacts 1.0.1, also from F-Droid store. In there, I have enabled Show private contacts to Fossify Dialer, Fossify SMS Messenger and Fossify Calendar. (I've also tested with Fossify Contacts 1.0.1 from Github release page)

I've taken logs from adb logcat, but there was nothing related I could find. The only mentioning of Fossify or Calendar I could find was here (full logs):
