Mac Firewall Problem w/AGH

I am running Adguard Home on a Mac mini and it works great until I turn on the Mac’s firewall. Even though I see Adguard Home listed as an ALLOWED app in the Mac firewall, when I turn on the firewall AGH stops working. I cant access the UI and all DNS queries fail. Any thoughts on how to make this work?

Is Stealth Mode on?

No. I keep that off.

Was AGH installed with the automated script, or by downloading the binary?
Is it in the Applications folder?

Thru the terminal command.  It’s in the app folder.

Weird. Should have worked.
I tested the same setup, via the automated installer, and with the default settings it worked.

Firewall is on, stealth mode is on, the AGH isn't even added to the firewall exceptions.

After hours of working on this I finally found the answer. The app was not signed. The Mac firewall sometimes will not let unsigned apps pass data even if they are in the list of allowed apps. Once I signed AGH it worked perfectly with the firewall.

Curious that I've never seen this on macOS before and AGH specifically works without being signed by default, but I'm glad it's now working for you.
